Chata na Skrzynce is a year-round, ecological house made of wooden logs located right in the middle of a forest, in the village of Skrzynka, Greater Poland Voivodeship, between Lake Powidzkie and Lake Salomonowskie. It lies about 35 km away from Konin, 40 km away from Gniezno and about 100 km away from Poznan.

The commune of Ostrowite doesn’t have many historical landmarks, but history buffs can visit places like the 1890s manor in Naprusewo, the late 1800s manor park or the urn cemetery of the Lusatian culture under an archaeological observation in Jarotki, as well as see the early 1900s industrial mill in Kapiela or the palace complexes in Kosewa, Mieczownica and Giewartowo-Holendry.
