Gospodarstwo Agroturystyczne Amigówka is an idyllic wooden house located on the Wieliczka Foothills, in the village of Mietniów. It is only 5 km from the famous "Wieliczka" Salt Mine, less than 20 km from Krakow and about 30 km from Bochnia.
Those interested in accommodation in the Amigówka agriturismo have a choice of 5 and 7-person studio and a double room. Studio 5 consists of two bedrooms (one for two, one for three people), a bathroom, a living room with an equipped kitchenette and a cozy fireplace and a spacious, partially covered terrace. Number 7, "fireplace" studio differs from the former only by the lack of a 3-person bedroom (instead of it, in the living room there are two 2-person sofabeds and a bed for one person) and a terrace.
In turn, the double room has a double bed (with the possibility of an extra bed for one person), a bathroom, a coffee corner with a fridge, as well as a charming balcony with a terrace.
The agriturismo hosts are proud of their delicious cuisine. They provide their guests with delicious home-made breakfasts and lunches or dinners.
As the owners of Amigówka love cooking, they organize interesting workshops for visitors (conducted in several languages: Polish, English, Spanish, Russian, Italian, French and German), during which you can learn how to cook regional delicacies such as dumplings, bigos or local cakes.
The hosts also offer guided tours of the most beautiful parts of the Wieliczka commune.
The place that attracts many of Amigówka visitors is the unique, famous "Wieliczka" Salt Mine along with the Krakow Saltworks Museum. A short distance separates the farmstay from the second, similar site the Bochnia Salt Mine. Your lungs and body will certainly thank you for visiting Wieliczka Graduation Tower.
Although the region undoubtedly attracts attention due to the mines, there are also interesting historical monuments. As for the surrounding temples, the most interesting of them is the sixteenth-century Church of St. Clement. It is also worth visiting the Palace from Przychocki family, dating back to around 1784, located on the Market Square. Wieliczka is also decorated with two impressive monuments - John Paul II and Adam Mickiewicz.
An ideal place for walking, rest and tranquility is, in turn, the picturesque Salt Works Garden.
