In winter, kids spend their days tobogganing on the local hill.
The area around Baza Grapa is reminiscent of the picturesque Tatra Mountains and the famous Babia Góra, part of the Babia Góra National Park and the biosphere reserve. Equally attractive is the Madohora reserve (located in the Natura 2000 area), and also a picturesque waterfall, the highest in Beskidy Mountains in Sopotnia Wielka, which is a natural monument.
Interesting nearby monuments include sacred buildings such as the Jasna Górka Sanctuary, the nineteenth-century Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist or the chapel of St. John the Baptist in Zawoja, as well as the Open-air Museum of Trains in Chabówka, Painting Studio and Gallery "ACh" and Market Square with a horizontal fountain in Ślemień.
