The guests of the Polesie tourist farm can learn how to live following the principles of ecology. The house they’re staying at is equipped with a biomass powered boiler room and a recuperator (mechanical ventilation with recycled heat).
During the busy seasons, delicious homemade meals are prepared by the host, made of natural, regional products.
It is also a great place for kids, as the owners provide parents with different necessary accessories, such as a tourist crib or a high chair. There’s also a playground which helps develop a mind of a young explorer.
The attractions such as Polesie National Park are nearly at your fingertips. The farm’s guests wake up to the chirping of the Polesie’s birds and look at the inviting greenness of the woods. The landscape is complemented by the picturesque meadows and fields. The owners encourage to spend the time actively, like on nordic walking on tourist trails, or traditional hiking. Every once in a while, right by the house, different wild animals can be seen such as mooses, does, elks. Sometimes beavers can be seen, too. The bird photography lovers can occasionally capture cranes, white and black storks, white and gray herons, hoopoes and plenty of others. Hiking makes a great opportunity to observe the surrounding nature through binoculars while also picking the treasures of the forest on the way – the conditions just beg for mushroom picking. During summer, guests can enjoy the beauty of the nearby lakes, such as Zaglebocze, Piaseczno, Rotcze (Grabniak), Usciwierz, Sumin, Wytyckie and several beautiful wild lakes in the Polesie National Park: Moszne, Dlugie, Lukie and Karasne. Running right by the owners’ house are pedestrian, horseback and bike trails.
