In the picturesque Kashubian town of Lipusz, 76 km away from Gdansk and about 100 km away from Malbork, one can find a cozy rural house called Zielony Kot agriturismo.
Every guest is greeted at Zielony Kot with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The owners invite to stay in rooms for 2, 3 and 4 people, each with its own bathroom.
The guests of the farm have access to a kitchen and dining area where they can prepare their own meals. For those interested, there’s a workshop area with a projector that is included in the cost of stay for organized groups above 12 people.
The owners offer delicious breakfasts.
Stretching before Zielony Kot is a beautiful meadow ending at the river of Wda. Guests can spend their free time outside, playing badminton or cricket, having a bonfire or relaxing under the roof. The surroundings are full of pedestrian and bike routes, one can also go mushroom picking during the season.
What makes the farm stand out is mostly the Creative Academy of the Zielony Kot Farm, the aim of which is perfecting manual skills, teamwork, self-presentation and creative thinking, especially among kids and adolescents. The owners invite to participate in ceramic, painting, acting, nature or ecological workshops – such a vast selection will certainly please everyone.
The area around Zielony Kot is also no place to be bored. Located in Lipusz are, among others, the swimming area with a lifeguard in Skrzynki Duze, playgrounds, kayak rentals, as well as sport facilities, such as soccer, basketball and volleyball fields, an outdoor gym and tennis courts. Among the interesting local historical landmarks are the gothic revival church of st. archangel Michael, the Farming Museum where one can check out old farming equipment, furniture and old appliances, as well as the 19th century Old Water Mill.
It is also a great idea to visit the so-called Kashubian sea – the picturesque lake Wdzydze, where one can swim as well as kayak or sail. Nature lovers, on the other hand, will certainly enjoy the Kashubian Natural Park.
