Located among pine and mixed forests, the Gratka agriturismo is a real treat not only for those who love the ground cover (mushrooms, raspberries, bilberries, blueberries), or river animals (beavers, trouts, crayfishes). The facility located in Celiny is about half an hour drive away from the capital of the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, Kielce.
The owners have provided their guests with 20 bed places. Also at their disposal is a spacious and well-equipped kitchen. There’s also a common room, where one can host a meeting or a training for a group of up to 30 people. There’s also a roofed table allowing for a feast for as many as 50 people. More intimate arrangements, especially during summer, are provided by the fireplace, where one can have an atmospheric bonfire. Children were also kept in mind, being able to spend time having fun in the designated area created with the little ones in mind.
What makes the Gratka agriturismo stand out is definitely the fact that it is the site of one of the few vineyard in the region. Spelt is also grown here (the facility has an ecological farming certificate, and the entire manufacturing process, both plant and animal related, is run in accordance with the methods and the spirit of ecology).
This facility is a perfect starting point for numerous trips around this region that is still full of mysteries. We can find valuable historical landmarks in Sandomierz, the aforementioned Kielce, Pinczow or Szydlow. There’s plenty of castles, palaces and manors (Ujazd, Kurozweki, Sobkow, Checiny), museums, exhibitions, technological monuments, and last but not least the folk traditions and rituals – it’s a unique blend of different, yet very interesting attractions. On top of that, the owners host Swietokrzyskie feasts, during which the modern entertainment meets the traditional local folklore.
