Siedlisko Bliżej gwiazd, translated to Homestead closer to the stars, is an intimate property located in Masurian Golubki, in the commune of Kowale Oleckie and the Protected Landscape area of the Oleckie Lakes. It is located only 40 km from Suwałki and Ełk, 55 km from Augustów, 60 km from Giżycko and less than 65 km from the Lithuanian border.
Closer to the Stars homestead has a very diverse range of accommodation. You can choose between an elegant 2-room apartment with garden; a cozy holiday home with a mezzanine, a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchenette; and a lovely mini apartment for 2 people with single beds. Each of the accommodations has its own bathroom and a private sun terrace. In addition, families have a cot, a high chair and a bath for babies at their disposal.
The price of staying in the hamestead includes delicious meals - breakfasts and dinners, based on local produce (such as goat's and cow's cheeses, smoked and fresh fish, eggs, preserves, liqueurs and honey), as well as coffee and cake.
At Siedlisko Bliżej Gwiazd everyone will find something for themselves. The atmosphere of this place is conducive to rest on a hammock or deck chair, swimming in the pool, meetings at the grill or bonfire and reading books. Sports lovers have bicycles and a football pitch at their disposal, while fishing enthusiasts can rent fishing equipment on site.
Closer to the Stars homestead also has attractions for kids. They can play at will in the sandbox and have fun on the swing.
The hosts of the Closer to the Stars homestead are happy to organize kayaking on the Rospuda River and the Łaźnia Struga. Bathing and sunbathing enthusiasts should definitely visit the city beaches in Gołdap, Olecko, Ełk or the Arkadia Lagoon and few smaller local beaches.
A particularly popular place in the region is the Gołdap water tasting room and graduation towers. In turn, in search of picturesque works of nature, it is worth visiting the Suwałki Landscape Park.
The most interesting monuments in the area include the impressive bridges in Stańczyki, as well as the pyramid in Rapa (the nineteenth-century tomb of the Prussian family von barons von Fahrenheid) and the Teutonic Castle in Ełk.
