KAAJówka Folk Cottage in Bieszczady is a beautiful mountain cottage located in the Podkarpackie village of Smerek, in the Cisna commune. It is located next to the Bieszczady National Park and the border with Slovakia, 66 km from Sanok and 120 km from Przemyśl.
KAAJówka can accommodate up to 12 people in four folk decorated 2-, 3-, and 4 person rooms, equipped with double and single beds. Each of the rooms has a private bathroom.
Guests of the Folk House in Bieszczady have at their disposal a stylish, fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with a charming fireplace, a sofa and a TV and a cozy dining room with two tables and a serving table with tableware.

When planning a mountain hike, it is worth seeing the highest peak - Tarnica and pass through the landscapes (Połonina Caryńska and Połonina Wetlińska). While at KAAJówka, it's hard to ignore the Bieszczady National Park and the Museum of Nature within it.
One of the most characteristic buildings in the area is the famous Siekierezada, a enchanting bar with its original interiors, which is also a gallery. Interesting facilities include the Stone of Aleksander Fredro, reminding about the associations of the comedy writer's family with Bieszczady, the Shrine of Remembrance with the Pensive Christ, the station of the Bieszczady Forest Railway, the observation tower "Jeleni Skok", and the Miniature Park in Myczkowce, where you can admire mock-ups of wooden churches. While at sacred buildings, it is worth visiting the parish church of St. Stanisław Biskup in Cisna.
