Kalbornia Lake House is a brick house with a specific character of the open-air museum, stylized on an old farmstead. It is located near Lake Dąbrowa Wielka in Dąbrówno in Mazury, about 60 km from Olsztyn and about 100 km from Elbląg.
Kalbornia Lake House is a charming, picturesque place, ideal for those who value peace and beautiful nature. The design of the interior contains elements of the original woodwork and many old household appliances. The house has on the first floor 2 bedrooms with a double place to sleep, 2 beds in the living room, a double bed in the attic, where it is also possible to add an extra mattress, as well as an additional place to sleep on the ground floor.
On the ground floor, guests of the Kalbornia Lake House have at their disposal a living room with a fireplace, a kitchenette, a pantry, a shower, a toilet and a large landscaped terrace. Upstairs, they can use the lounge room, where there is a TV, DVD and radio, and a second toilet. In addition, a natural sauna with a room for relaxation is prepared in the basement.
In Kalbornia Lake House there is no possibility to buy meals on the spot, but there is a shop within 2 km.
The holiday home has a wooden side door with a place for a barbecue, as well as a fireplace and a hammock. The main local attraction is the Dąbrowa Wielka lake, about 200 m away, where you can rent water equipment such as canoes, water bikes and Omega sailboats, as well as go fishing.
In addition to Dąbrowa Wielka near Kalbornia Lake House there are such lakes as Dąbrowa Mała, Jezioro Okrągłe and Jezioro Pancerz. The interesting monuments of Dąbrówna include the neo-Gothic Methodist church with a belfry and adjacent defensive walls, the St. John's Church, Synagogue transformed into the Galeria Centrum Meryba, the Teutonic Castle and the palace park. History enthusiasts can also visit the Museum of the Battle of Grunwald in Stębark.
