Description

Location
Location

Right by the Lake of Talty, on the Trail of the Great Lakes of Masuria, in Mikolajki, Podlaskie Voivodeship, is located the cozy little Ville i Apartamenty Sady resort. It lies about 40 km away from Gizycko, 70 km away from Elk, 80 km away from Olsztyn and about 180 km away from Bialystok.

Accommodation

The resort consists of three houses to rent in full plus three buildings with separate suites. Villa Mila and Villa Mela are identical houses for 10 people, each of which is equipped with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room with a kitchenette and a big dining table (which can also serve as a pool table) as well as a furnished terrace and a backyard with a barbecue. Slightly bigger than the previous two, being able to accommodate 13 people, Villa Morela comes with a garage that can fit two cars, spacious terraces, a fenced area with a playground and a barbecue spot as well as, upon the guests’ request, two beds for little kids; but the main advantage of this house is being located opposite of a well-maintained beach with a swimming area.

Ville i Apartamenty Sady doesn’t offer food, but there are restaurants nearby.

Attractions on-site

The guests of the both houses as well as the suites can have a barbecue. On top of that, each of the three suite buildings has a pool room, a playroom and a fireplace room where one can have a good time. However, the main attraction here is the beach and swimming in the Lake of Talty as well as other local bodies of water.

Attractions for kids

The youngest guests of Sady can play in a special designated room or outside, at the playground.

Attractions in the area

One thing’s for sure, Masuria is mostly famous for its lakes, where one can not only swim but also sail in a sailboat or a motorboat, as well as go on a cruise in a ship or go fishing. There are also numerous kayaking trails along such rivers as Łazna Struga or Sapina, both in Masuria and on the Lithuanian territory. The area around the lakes is also full of beautiful historical landmarks, the most notable of which is the sanctuary of Virgin Mary in Swieta Lipka, which was included on the „Historical Monuments” list – a list of prestigious historical landmarks of a unique national significance. Mikolajki alone, which is the location of Ville i Apartamenty Sady, also offers, among other things, the Wildlife Park in Kadzidlowo (on the territory of the Pisz Forest), WW2 bunkers by the Mamry lake or the Galindia outdoor museum, where one can learn about the life of the local settlers of the past. The town is also full of perfect places for hiking or bike riding.
