In the Sobków settlement, in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, there is a magnificent Knight's Castle from the old days. It is located just 15 km from Jędrzejów, 25 km from Kielce and 40 km from Busko-Zdrój.

Knight's Castle is definitely a place where there is no time for boredom. One of the main attractions here is the knights' stable, which offers horseback riding lessons for guests of all ages, as well as activities for experienced riders. In winter, it is best to go on a sleigh ride to admire the beautiful, snow-covered countryside, while in warmer seasons it is great to ride a horse-drawn carriage. However, what makes the Knight's Castle so special are, above all, knights' shows and fights, thanks to which guests will feel the atmosphere from past centuries, as well as the presentation of birds of prey and the possibility of feeding them. In addition, the nearby Nida River favours boating and kayaking.
The area around Sobków is an interesting area, primarily in terms of history. In addition to the Knight's Castle, the remains of the Royal Castle in Chęciny, erected at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries are worth a visit; Museum of the Kielce Village with a rich educational offer and branches in nearby towns (including the Ethnographic Park in Tokarnia); modern Neanderthal Center in Chęciny (in the Paradise Cave), as well as the Cisterian Archiwill in Jędrzejów, founded in the first half of the 12th century. A unique place also located near the Royal Castle is the Leonardo da Vinci Science Center, which aims to increase interest in natural sciences, especially among young people. Lovers of literature should definitely see Dworek Mikołaj Rej in Nagłowice and the Museum of Henryk Sienkiewicz in Oblęgorek, and Slavic enthusiasts will find their place in the Chęciny Slavic Settlement. The area is also famous for many interesting museums, the most interesting of which is the Clock Museum in Jędrzejów, the National Museum and the Toy Museum in Kielce.
The capital of the province, apart from that, offers the beautiful Bishop's Palace, the Geopark Kielce educational park and several nature reserves, eg Biesak-Białogon or Ślichowice.
