Folwark Karczemka Wellness & Restaurant is a facility located by the Piniewskie lake, which is part of the Elblag Canal, also called Elblag-Ostroda canal or Ostroda-Elblag canal, which starts in Elblag and ends in Ostroda. The canal itself was declared a historical monument in 2011 by the decree of the president of Poland, and in the 2007 „Rzeczpospolita” plebiscite it was declared one of the seven wonders of our country.
The facility consists of a 1800s building that the guests stay at. Inside the cozy, adapted mill, the personnel has also arranged comfortable suites. Each of the rooms is equipped with a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar, a kettle, a coffeemaker, as well as a private, independent bathroom with a shower and a bathrobe. The suites are also equipped with a fireplace. Some of the rooms have a view of the garden and lake.
Outside the private area, the guests can also use the sauna, the garden or the terrace, or even an outdoor bathtub. Although the neighborhood is certainly full of attractions (fishing, kayaking, mushroom hunting, hiking and cycling, hunting), the facility’s personnel offers the guests their help with organizing their free time. It is possible to rent equipment that makes unforgettable sensations easier, such as nordic walking poles, kayaks, boats and other sport equipment.
At the restaurant the personnel serves guests with delicious local breakfast every morning. It is also possible to prepare other meals (supper), dry snacks or a picnic basket for an unforgettable nature outing.
