Agrotourism on the Długie Lake is a charming farmhouse located in the Podlasie region of Krasnopol. It is located approx. 20 km from the border with Lithuania and Suwałki, 40 km from Augustów and 120 km from Białystok.
The farmstay hosts at Lake Długie (long lake) invite you to stay in a house for 6 people. On the ground floor it has a large living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. In turn, on the first floor there are two three-person bedrooms with wardrobes and bedding, a second bathroom, a utility hall, as well as audio-video equipment. In addition, the farm has a beautiful glass terrace, from which you can admire the beauty of the surrounding nature.
The agriturismo at the lake Długie is a self catering property, but there is a restaurant 5 km away.
The farm is a place where no one will be bored. Guests have direct access to the lake, where you can swim in a rented boat or canoe. The reservoir is also an ideal place for fishing. In addition, in the local picturesque garden full of greenery and flowers there is a place to light a barbecue or bonfire. It is also worth renting a bike and exploring the area, while in the season you can go mushroom picking. On warm days, the hosts offer a carriage ride and sleigh rides in the winter.
In Agroturism at the Długie lake, the youngest guests will also find interesting activities. There is a playground full of attractions on the premises.
Near the agrotourism there are many trails for walking and cycling. The most important place in terms of nature in the area is undeniably the Wigry National Park - one of the largest national parks in Poland, famous for its special protection of fish and beavers. It is located in the Augustów Primeval Forest, the area of which also reaches Lithuania and Belarus. The picturesque Wigry Lake located here is one of the cleanest water reservoirs in Poland, thus it is a paradise for sailors, kayakers and anglers. An ideal place for canoeing is the Czarna Hańcza River. An attraction which attracts crowds of tourists is also a cruise through the Augustów Canal, during which you can admire the beautiful views.
The area around Krasnopol is also known for interesting monuments, such as the Post-Camaldine Monastic Complex, where the Pope John Paul II Museum is located; Basilica of the Lesser Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Sejny, built in the style of Vilnius baroque; Open-air museum of Lithuanian culture in Puńsk, as well as the Wigry Museum in Stary Folwark. In turn, a great place for families with children is the Owl Garden of fairytales in Kaletnik, where the youngest take on the characters of the fairy tale and perform specific tasks.
