Far to the east, near the border with Belarus, in the Lublin village of Studzianka lies the U Kovala hacienda. It is less than 20 km from Biała Podlaska, 40 km from Janów Podlaski, about 80 km from Siedlce and 100 km from the capital of the voivodship - Lublin.
U Kovala is an isolated farm, and therefore ideal for a rest away from the noise. The house has 14 beds in 4 rooms. On the ground floor there is a spacious hall with a fireplace (it can accommodate up to 60 people, so it is an ideal place for organizing special events), a fully equipped kitchen and toilets. In turn, the 1 floor contains bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
U Kovala hacienda is a self-catering property.
In the area of the hacienda there is a green that is an ideal place to relax, light a barbecue and a bonfire in a special circle. You can also choose to relax on the terrace, while meetings in a larger group are worth organizing in the gazebo. However, the most interesting attraction of U Kovala is undoubtedly the local pond, where you can both go swimming and fishing.
U Kovala is also a child-friendly place. The hosts have prepared a special corner for them and a playground full of attractions.
The Łomazy commune, in which the hacienda U Kovala is located, is worth visiting largely due to historical values. The local Hały Forest is a place remembered above all by the extermination of over two thousand Polish Jews on August 18, 1942. In turn the most interesting monument is definitely the neo-Gothic church of St. Peter and Saint Paul from the beginning of the 20th century. Nearby towns attract tourists mainly due to the wide range of recreational activities. In summer, it's best to go with your whole family to the ZWWF Aquapark in Biała Podlaska or to the Kubiki swimming pool in Chotyłów, and mainly in the winter (but not only), the ski slope in Międzyrzec Podlaski will be particularly attractive. Horseback riding enthusiasts will also enjoy themselves - they must visit the very famous stud farm in Janów Podlaski.
